Entertainment Weekly celebrates 20 Years of Buffy with cover and feature story. EW reunited the cast and Joss Whedon for their first joint interview and photo shoot in over a decade. Full reunion video can be found here and Group shot here.

Link includes short video interview with Joss and some cast members.
Also per SMG's post, she's taking over EW's Instagram account to post some behind-the-scenes shots from the reunion.

Cool video.
Very nice. And to see Willow and Tara together again? Priceless!
You mean Joss and SMG were in the same place, at the same time, talking? Whaaat.
Wow - impressive how many people the got together. Is ASH the only major cast member missing?
Tony Head, Marc Blucas and Nicholas Brendon are missing in that cover shoot.
But still awesome!

Nicholas Brendon is there. In the behind the scenes video you seem him taking pics with Joss and doing some interviews with Emma Caulfield. He is missing from the main group interview though and doesn't appear to be taking photos with the rest of the cast. It seems he was kept seperate from the main group.

ASH is missing but that's understandable given he lives in the UK. I'm not a Marc/Riley hater by any means but I'm really not surprised he wasn't remembered for this tbh
ASH was/is(?) doing a play and apparently the UK doesn't do understudies
Awesome. I can't believe they're all in the same place. This is nuts.

Also, is there a version of the interview only? The random commentary is painful.
I guess Cordelia was a vampire the whole time. Seriously, does Charisma Carpenter age?
Has anyone timed just how little of this EW special is the cast reunion talking, compared to clips and EW staff talking heads? This is the same nonsense problem their recent Twin Peaks special had.
Great to see all of those people together again! I do agree with without_passion... the bits from the EW people are pretty awkward. It's mostly summaries of episodes and story arcs - but people who'd watch this are very likely to know all of that already (a memory refreshment is okay but it's not brought as such), and if they don't, they get massive spoilers.

It is indeed a bit of a shame that ASH, Eliza Dushku and Marc Blucas are missing, but mostly surprising in the case of Eliza. And it's odd indeed that Nicholas Brendon is not part of the full cast shoot/interview. He did still tweet a lovely behind-the-scenes picture of himself with Joss, Alyson Hannigan, Emma Caulfield, Michelle Trachtenberg, Alexis Denisof and Seth Green: https://twitter.com/nicholasbrendon/status/847114432891142144
Was Tom Lenk not invited? It's too bad he wasn't present for this.

Yea, I feel like EW fumbled the presentation of the video (and let's not talk about some of the Photoshop work done in some of those images...). We only get a few minutes of actual reunion in the entire 43 minute clip. Still, it's very cool to have this happen at all.
I mostly miss ASH in the photos and video, but it's certainly understandable. I'm just glad to see so many of the cast gathered together. It's like a high school reunion, but they actually remember everybody there! And we do, too.
This makes me so happy!! (I agree about the annoying commentary though)

Anyone know if the magazine is available in UK shops?
This video, or a version with more Q&A, would serve well as a bonus on a properly remastered BluRay series box set of Buffy. It would be a wonderful surprise if Fox were to announce that they've hired Joss to supervise a new HD remaster to replace the current botched HD remaster. One can wish.
I just know somewhere on the internet some one is talking about Sarah holding David's hand.
Nick Brendon mentioned something about lawyers getting involved a few weeks ago, I wonder if that's related to his seeming isolation in this.
Aww, poor Alexis didn't get to speak in the video. But it was nice to see that he at least got to be there, I guess..
As for ASH:-

In the big group shot, Nicky is third from the left.
Eliza says on her twitter that because she wasn't a series regular she wasn't invited- but appears very gratious about it.
Given the significance of her charater I still feel she should've been invited...cause there were a couple of non-regulars, but like Faith they were all significant parts of the Buffyverse.

Kristine Sutherland was never a series regular- but was part of the recurring cast for the first five seasons.
Amber Benson was part of the recurring cast and got a spot in the main credits for her final episode.
Alexis Denisof was only a gueststar on Buffy, but starred in Angel so having him there along with David & Charisma acknowledges that part of the Buffyverse as well (And I'm sure Alyson would have insisted that he get invited.)
It's actually surprising to hear Joss sound pretty open about a live action continuation. I gave up any hope for that ten years ago. And while still many doubts it would actually happy, I can't lie that the thought a four episode Netflix type arc (or something) makes me so insanely giddy.

It definitely is surreal seeing everyone together again. Can't wait to pick up the issue.

I have seen it in WH Smiths before.
Nice to hear that Eliza seemed gratious about her non-invite, it's understandable that they aimed for regulars and they got amazingly far with that (and still some bonus guests to go with that). If they didn't have that restriction, a lot more people would be missing (Juliet Landau, the Trio and all of the Big Bads, Armin Shimerman, D.B. Woodside etc.). But this is a really, really nice large ensemble of the core group.
But wasn't Marc Blucas a regular for a while? I seem to remember that he featured in the opening credits for a time during S4/S5.

Yup. Like Mercedes Mcnab, Julie Benz and Danny Strong, who were all part from the history since the Pilot-Presentation.

I have seen it in WH Smiths before.

Less widespread, but I remember seeing it in Waterstones also.
It was also interesting to see Juliet Landau's comments in the tweet that Eliza posted. She clearly wanted people to note the absence of people like Tom Lenk, herself, Danny Strong and at least one other I cannot remember right now. But was also nice about it.
Its there a YouTube version of this or anything that doesnt use such a garbage video player ?
Numfar - but Mercedes McNab and Julie Benz were more prominent on Angel, but never regulars on Buffy, were they? Were they ever featured in the opening titles?
(As far as I can recall, Danny Strong indeed featured in the opening titles on Buffy - once, on 'Superstar'.)
People obsess over "who's not there, and why" every time an event like this happens in every fandom. It's the old divide between glass-half-empty and glass-half-full people. For some people it's "look who's there!" and for others it's "look who got snubbed!"
After all, Nick is not the only one who's not in the video. Joss is also not there. Bummer.

But yeah, I wanna be one of those glass half full people. Because the glass is like 70% full. I just like my glasses completely full.
@Valentijn: Mercedes McNab was a regular on AtS season 5, never on BtVS. Marc Blucas was indeed a regular in seasons 4 and 5, but his absence seems to be a reflection of his characters' unpopularity. Plus, they weren't going to dilute their Twilightization/TrueBloodisation/TheVampireDiarization of BtVS with the "Angel or Spike?" crap by acknowledging Riley, were they?

Realistically, Alexis is probably there mostly because he's Alyson's husband and came as a package deal. Wesley was nowhere near as prominent or important on BtVS as Faith, Drusilla, any of the Trio, any of the Big Bads, or even Wood or Harmony or Snyder.

His presence would make a lot more sense if they made it clear it was a photoshoot honoring Buffyverse as a whole, i.e. both shows. Then David getting a solo cover to himself would also make sense. But in that case, they should have also invited Amy Acker and J. August Richards, at least.

That's what I thought. So Marc Blucas is the only (so far) unexplained notable absentee regular. I do feel bad for the guy, even if his character also had to grow on me. By now, I see Riley as a seemingly superficial soldier-boy-jock-but-top-student, who was accepted in the outsiders' scooby gang without question. That, to me, makes him a symbol of bridging different social circles; how everyone can get along as long as their heart is in the right place. It could have actually been very interesting to have a reflection on the character, his role in the series, what they meant to tell with him. (Indeed, certainly more interesting than 'Angel or Spike?'!)

I think that if we look at the actual regulars, based on who were featured in the opening titles of the show, it would be (I'll keep to the shorter character names): Buffy, Willow, Xander, Giles, Cordelia, Angel, Spike, Anya, Dawn, Oz, Tara, Riley?

-I am counting Tara, Amber Benson was in the opening credits only once but Joss apparantly always wanted to play that macabre joke of including someone in the titles only right before killing them off. I think she counts.
-I am not counting Jonathan, who was in the titles for Superstar, because that was... magic interference.

So then they got 10 out of 12 = glass 83% full! With 2 extra's as bonus content (ice cubes? Umbrellas?).
All in all, it's a wonderful glass.
Finally a group shot with Willow and Tara together, like physically NEXT to each other, like other couples often are!
Regarding Sarah and David holding hands in the group pic, they've remained very close over the years. David and Sarah's husband Freddie are good friends. Freddie has even guest-starred with David on "Bones". Their families enjoy hanging out together when schedules permit.
